Welcome to your free vermicomposting lessons, these lessons have been on the Internet at http://www.goldenrod.net and free for anyone that wished to use them since before 1998.  Avsa1.net is the sister site to  Goldenrod.net and has been up since 2004, due to a recent hosting change foul up, all the prior pages were lost and so I’m starting from scratch and rebuilding Avsa1.net bigger and better than before.

Since I’m updating both websites currently, I will also be offering the Vermicomposting Free Lessons on this site as well.  My “updating” sometimes leave NOTHING working LOL.

Both websites have consistently been the leaders in furnishing the most free vermicomposting information and  how to set up your own free earthworm kits on the net, many sites copied them, but few ever offered as much free information.  The new lessons will include picture of the steps as we progress through each.

Although these lessons have served the intended purpose for over 13 years of teaching vermicomposting, it is time for some updates.

Comparison of old lessons and new updated:

Old lessons were a free sign up process, to get lessons.  That sign up process is being eliminated.  Just copy the lessons, come back to them or whatever.  Progress through them as you like/need to.

Old lessons covered a six week time frame, with discussions, progress reports and constant contact with me for problem solving.  This blog format can serve the same purpose with less headaches for all concerned.  If you need help, post a comment, I will try to answer as best I can.

I do NOT claim to be an expert, so there may be better answers available elsewhere, all I claim to do is share what I have and know, use it as you wish.
