Survival Storage on a Shoe String – Canned Food Storage

bullet Survival Storage on a Shoe String – Canned Food Storage

Canned: 180-190 cans $140-$150.00

Updated 9/2011  We usually have a good garden that we can eat fresh from and dry/freeze the rest for future use.  This year the garden has NOT done very well at all, it is a severe drought in our area, so I will restock my shelves for winter using the following list. Some of these can be added to  survival storage, although I prefer dried fruit/veggies because of the longer shelf life, cans also contain liquid that can be used for cooking in a water shortage situation/ immediate emergency.

Meat: 15 cans = $13.00

Veggies – 130 cans = $75-80

Fruit canned 30 cans = $33.00

Soup canned  12 cans = $12.00
